After the devastating financial crisis, ITMA+ CITME 2010 opened on 22nd, June. This professional exhibition attracted a large number of visitors including Du Juezhou, president of China National Textile and Apparel Council, deputy presidents, Xu Kunyuan, Wang Tiankai, Gao Yong, Zhang Yankai and Edward.Robert, President of European Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association.
Since the second half year of 2009, world economy recovered gradually. Under such circumstance, China textile industry had a great demand for textile machinery. Because of this great demand, international textile machinery manufacturers were attracted here. At this exhibition, 1171 textile machinery manufacturers from 28 countries displayed their products with the exhibition area of 100,000 square meters.
As the largest textile machinery exhibition in Asia, this exhibition attracted many visitors. Although entrance fee was needed, there were many visitors lining up at the gate of Shanghai New International Expo Center. It is expected that over 100,000 visitors will pay a visit to this exhibition.
