China: Shoes Export Value up 23.6% in last seven months

The General Administration of Customs released China's export and import in last 7 months on 10th, August. According to its statistics, the total value of import and export from January to July in 2010 reaches 1.61705 trillion US dollars, increasing by 40.9% year-by-year. The export value is 850.49 billion US dollars, up by 35.6% and the import value is 766.56 billion US dollars, up by 47.2% with 83.9 billion us dollars favorable balance, declining by 21.2%.

The report shows that the export value of garments arrives at 66.83 billion US dollars, increasing by 17.4%. The export value of yarns, textiles is 42.84 billion US dollars, up by 32.8%. The export value of shoes is 19.42 billion US dollars, increasing by 23.6%.
