Based on the Customs data, 2538 statistics-worthy enterprises data from National Bureau of Statistics, as well as the data from 15 industrial clusters and 150 key manfuacturers collected by China Home Textile Association, from Jan. to May, the home textile industry witnessed growth in production, sales and export, with profit increase, despite the cost soaring of raw material and labor. The whole situation of this industry turned to rise.
The export of home textiles kept stable growth. Besides the demand recovery from European and American markets, the export to South America, ASEAN, as well as some surrounding countries also realized big growth. The export turned to be diversified.
The production-sales-ratio of 2538 statistics-worthy enterprises was 98.12%. That??s 0.12 percentage point higer than that of same period last year. The profit rate also went up 0.43 points, with 0.12 points gain in sales profit.
