According to the half-year financial report of Adidas, its global revenue reached 5.59 billion Euros, up 11% compared to the same period last year. However, the revenue of great China region declined 16% compared to the same period last year due to its high stock. Great China region was Adidas’ only market experiencing a negative growth.
Except great China region, other markets all enjoyed a double-digit growth.
For sluggish China market, Adidas attributed it to the stock disposal. Although its performance was dragged by great China market, it still earned 5.59 billion Euros in the first half year of 2010 all over the world.
