Recently, the Chunben department store(“No rent, No deduction rate, Seven days a payment term”), which claims to break the traditional price mode of the department store, was established in Beijing. It is the first department store of low price, direct selling and chain operation in China.
The manager of the department store said that nowadays most department stores have the high deduction rate, long payment terms and other problems. Take garment for example, the process of garment from manufacturing factory to selling stores is very complicated, which directly leads to the high price of garment. The 50% of the garment price is out of its commercial value. The Chunben department store aims to break this traditional price mode and makes more benefit to consumers.
