The jewel-encrusted white glove of pop-icon ‘Michael Jackson’ has sold for $49,000. The late pop star wore this famous accessory during his wedding with Debbie Rowe in the year 1996.
The glove was bought in an auction in Australia by Las Vegas Hard Rock curator Mr. Warwick Stone, who said that MJ gave this glove in Australia to someone in public. Most of Jackson’s fans and collectors of his memorabilia knew about this glove.
Pop-singer’s right-hand glove was the first of his gloves to go on sale since his death on June 25, with three more to go under the hammer in USA this year.
Meanwhile, designer Christian Audigier, Jackson’s close friend who had been working with him on a clothing line, is to buy the Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles, where 50 year-old pop-star died.
Initially, the designer planned to convert the mansion into a museum in the honour of his friend, but now reconsidered his plan and decided to open the house every June to mark Michael Jackson’s death.
