A textile maker in Belarus has claimed to have designed a school uniform, which shields children from the harmful effects of a mobile phone. The uniforms have a special pocket which shields the children from the radiation emanated by the mobile phone.
Attempts have been made in earlier years to design clothing to protect the human being from the effects of the radiation. Levis Strauss had launched a line of in its Dockers range a few years back which came with anti-radiation pockets.
Britain’s National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB), had said that there have been reports of adverse health effects of mobile phones on children, but some have not yet been independently confirmed and are of variable quality.
