Green credit card with your low carbon travel

On March 02, 2010 CANGO Green Commuting Fund, together with China Everbright Bank and China Beijing Environmental Exchange, released a Green Zero-carbon Credit Card . From now on, people holding this card can participate in low carbon activities on top of enjoying financial services.

The publication of zero-carbon credit card is pioneer work to apply low carbon ideas to products which are closely related to our daily life. At the same time of enjoying the essential service, people can experience low-carbon ideas and practice low-carbon lifestyle, as well as being rewarded credit points. CANGO Green Commuting Fund also issued a green-travel transportation card for Shanghai Expo before to advocate public green travel, low carbon watching of the Shanghai Expo, and through buying carbon indication to neutralize carbon emissions from traveling. The Green zero-carbon credit card has got similar functions.

The Executive Director of CANGO, Mr. Huang Haoming also attended the launching event. He said that CANGO Green Commuting Fund is a special environmental fund registered with the State Ministry of Civil Affairs. City-travel mode as the main focus should provide specific solutions with the core objective of green-commuting . Another main feature of the credit card is to encourage cardholders taking practical actions to reduce carbon emissions.

It is reported that Green zero-carbon credit card is just one of the low-carbon series during Shanghai Expo year. Before World Expo 2010, CANGO Green Commuting Fund will continue to focus on organizing activities like Expo green-travel listing ceremony, a long-distance run toward World Expo, the release of the Expo carbon transportation cards, Auto Show of green travel 2010 and other activities. Green travel, low-carbon lifestyle will soon be a new trend in public life.
