Shopping Festival to showcase foreign wines

The organizing committee of Chengdu Shopping Festival of Spring Festival said on Monday that a promotional event for famous foreign wines was to be staged during the festival, which is scheduled to start at the end of this month.

The officials of the committee said that dozens of famous brands of foreign wines will cause a stir during the festival at a wine trading fair, previously dominated by famous brands in China.

The foreign brands will embrace some of the famous names from France, Italy, Australia, Chili, Hungary, Spain and Canada, among which La fi ert will make its first appearance in the city. The Australian Trade Commission is said to launch a promotional program for Australian wines during the festival.
