Sichuan tourism to highlight cultural diversity

Sichuan Tourism Bureau declared on Wednesday a promotional slogan "Fun in Sichuan" for this year along with the theme for local tourism industry

"Sichuan China, Home of Pandas", with an intention to better promote local tourism around the world. A series of colorful programs will be carried out in the province following the decision on the choice of the slogan.Xue Yaping, vice director of Sichuan Tourism Bureau, said the slogan will help tourists pay more attention to the rich tourism resources with cultural and topographic diversity in Sichuan. He added that the province will offer new tourism items in various forms for tourists in the year.
