Sichuan Provincial Department of Communications announced on Monday that the construction of the Second Outer Ring Road of Chengdu was launched the same day.
The expressway has a length of 222 kilometers and runs around Chengdu through a dozen cities, counties and districts under the city and neighboring cities. The construction of the road will be completed in three years.
