Modern services center to settle in Chengdu

Officials from the government of Jinjiang District in Chengdu said on Wednesday that the project of Hong Kong Modern Services Industrial Park had been approved and construction of the park would soon begin.

The industrial park, with its site in eastern Chengdu, is said to be made an infl uential commercial service center in western China with its major business of modern commercial services, fi nancial services and professional services. Construction of the industrial park will take fi ve to eight years to complete, said offi cials from the government of Jinjiang District.
