Chengdu Urban and Rural Construction Commission declared on Tuesday that a network of Health Fitness Paths, also called the Green Paths, with a total length of 1,000 kilometers will be formed in the city in the year.
Officials from the commission said that the network would well serve the purposes for environmental protection, sports, leisure and tourism. According to the com-mission, the construction of green paths in districts and counties in Chengdu will also be carried out in the year.
