China s power consumption rises 14.14 pct in June
China s power consumption rose 14.14 percent year on year to 352 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in June, the National Energy Administration (NEA) said in a statement on its website Wednesday.
The growth rate was 6.66 percentage points lower than in May.
In the first half year, China s electricity consumption topped 2.01 trillion kWh, up 21.57 percent on a year-on-year basis.
Primary industry consumption grew 5.61 percent to 45.1 billion kWh in the first half on a year-on-year basis.
Industrial use of electricity rose 24.24 percent to 1.52 trillion kWh in the first half on a year-on-year basis.
Tertiary industry power consumption rose 16.19 percent to 208.6 billion kWh in the first half on a year-on-year basis.
