Sales of home appliances to rural areas grow steadily in July

Sales of home appliance to rural areas in July totaled 6.749 million units, hitting 16.01 billion yuan, up by 58% and 82% year on year respectively. The top three in terms of sales value were: refrigerator (6.73 billion yuan), color TV sets (3.09 billion yuan) and air conditioners (2.66 billion yuan), a year-on-year growth of 42%, 330% and 9% respectively.

The top five in terms of region were: Henan (1.84 billion yuan), Shandong (1.68 billion yuan), Anhui (1.32 billion yuan), Jiangsu (1.11 billion yuan) and Hubei (1.05 billion yuan). The top brands in terms of sales were: Haier Gree, Hisense, Midea, Skyworth.
