China s CCI in the 2nd Quarter rose to 109 points
China Economic Monitoring Center of the National Bureau of Statistics released a report on August 12 that in the second quarter of the year, China s consumer confidence index (CCI) reached 109 points, up 1 point from the first quarter, being on the rise form five consecutive quarters.
The report pointed out that based on the optimistic judgment on macro-economic situation, China s consumer confidence is increasingly rising. Sample survey indicated that in the second quarter, 68% consumers were optimistic about the future employment and 67% about the individual income status in the future.
