NDRC requires to regulate energy conservation and emission reduction

It was known by the reporter on September 19 from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) that the NDRC recently printed and distributed the Urgency Circular on Further Current Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction, raising requirements in five aspects concerning energy conservation and emission reduction to ask all parts to avoid such wrong actions as cutting off electricity of residents and public institutions in boosting energy conservation and emission reduction.

The Circular pointed out that all parts shall make great efforts to promote energy conservation and emission reduction. The target on energy conservation and emission reduction during the 11th Five-Year Plan period is an indicator with legal binding force as well as an important gauge to test the execution ability and public trust of the governments. So all areas and departments shall in the spirit of taking great responsibility for the nation, the people and the history unify the thought, make firm confidence, make greater efforts and work harder to surely achieve the target on energy conservation and emission reduction during the 11th Five-Year Plan period.
