Li Changrong, general manager of international operations management center ofMaoye International Holding Ltd., said that the company will open stores in Shenyang and Wuxi respectively in the second half of this year. Thus, the total number of Maoye s department stores in China will reach 29.

Li said that the Shenyang store will be opened up on October 1 with a total business area of over 80 thousand square meters, and Wuxi Shopping Center will be operational in mid-December. In addition, Maoye International plans to open at least six department stores in China next year, including Taiyuan, Shenyang and Chengdu etc. He added that the company's annual sales revenue and profits will grow by 35% beginning from this year.
