Wuhan Zhongbai Set Office in Taiwan for Procurement

Zhongbai Group, the giant retailer in Wuhan, Hubei Province, set up its office in Taiwan on March 4th. Yue Yong, deputy mayor of Wuhan, attended the opening ceremony of the office, which marked the first step that Wuhan enterprises entered Taiwan.

The opening ceremony took place in Taipei. Yue Yong said in his speech that a federation of industries in Taiwan had held a successful conference regarding mainland enterprises investing in the island s market last July. Seven months after that, Zhongbai set up its office in Taiwan for procurement of local products. Though it is just a small office, it represents the first step that Wuhan enterprises made to enter Taiwan market.

Yu Yong said, We are confident that more companies in Wuhan will come to Taiwan and mutual investments in both areas will be realized. We are determined to share our complementary advantages and develop win-win policies for both sides in more economic fields.
