Today, the list of the 2009 China Top 50 Fast Food Enterprises was released by China Cuisine Association in Beijing. The top three fast food enterprises are Yum, McDonald's and Dekeshi respectively. The total revenue of the top 50 fast food enterprises in last year is 59.88 billion Yuan, accounting for 3.

3% of the retail sales of the whole accommodation and catering industry in China. The Chinese fast food brand Zhengongfu is the only one local brand which ranks in the top 5 of the 2009 China Top 50 Fast Food Enterprises. According to a survey conducted by China Cuisine Association, the total revenue of the top ten fast food enterprises in 2009 reaches 47.

19 billion Yuan, accounting for 78.8% of the total revenue of the top 50 fast food enterprises. With strong anti-risk ability, the fast food enterprises recorded higher revenue in 2009 than it did in the year before despite facing the financial crisis. The average revenue of the top 50 fast food enterprises is over 100 million Yuan.

Among them there are 23 enterprises which have a higher sales growth rate than the average sales growth rate of the whole industry, which is 16.8%. And ther are 11 enterprises whose sales growth rate is over 30%.

The top ten fast food enterprises are Yum, McDonald's, Dekeshi, Ajisen, Zhengongfu, Hexing, Goubuli, Judehuatian, Daniang Dumplings, and Qianxihe. Western fast food enterprises continue to take the lead, but the performance of Chinese fast food enterprises are getting better than before, with faster expansion pace than their western counterparts.
Established for nearly 16 years, Zhengongfu has already had 350 outlets currently. And Yum group, which takes the first place in the top 50 list, has more than 3,200 outlets.
