Wow Prime Group opens 22 more stores in mainland China

Taiwan Wow Prime Group entered Chinese mainland market 6 years ago. At present, the group is to comprehensively speed up its expansion pace in the market. It is expected that 22 stores will be opened up this year, and Wow Prime Group will open more stores in the Chinese mainland next year. The group hopes that the total number of its stores will be over 100 in the next two to three years.

Wow Prime Group opened its first store in Shanghai in 2004. It is expected that by the end of this September the two brands Wang Steak and Xiti which owned by Wow Prime will have 23 stores. Wow Prime Group has laid a solid foundation for its operation in mainland China. The group is optimistic about the market in the future. Beginning from this year, the group will conduct several large-scale store expansions, aiming to have 100 stores within two to three years.

Although Wow Prime entered mainland market 6 years ago, its expansion in the market is relatively slow, compared with major retailers in the market. After last year's financial turmoil, the mainland economy is stable. Zhao Guangfeng, executive director of Wow Prime Group, said that the group decided to speed up the pace of store expansion, aiming to become the No. 1 professional steak chain in mainland China.
