South Beauty Group expects to make an initial public offering

Recently one of China s high-end restaurant chain brands South Beauty Group opened up its 13^th store in the Lujiazui financial district in Shanghai. Zhang Lan, chairman of South Beauty Co., Ltd., said in an interview that South Beauty Group plans to open up 25 to 30 stores in Shanghai, and expects to make an initial public offering at the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In addition, one of the group s subsidiary brands STEAM restaurant will have 300 stores in Shanghai in the near future.

Founded in 2000, South Beauty Group adopted a multi-brand operation strategy for many years. The groups brands include South Beauty restaurants, high-end club LAN Club, and fashion brand restaurants SUBU and STEAM (steam) etc.

According to Zhang, South Beauty Group has successfully served the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, which is one of the key strategic steps that will accelerate the group s pace of entering into international market. At present, South Beauty Group plans to open stores in Tokyo, London, New York, Milan and other cities, aiming to expand in the oversea markets.
