Hotel numbers of Home Inn reaches 1,100

The total hotel numbers of Chinese hotel chain Home Inn reaches 1,000, and among them there are more than 750 hotels. Thus, hotel numbers of Home Inn is two times than its rival Jinjiangzhixing. Home Inn said that it expects to have nearly 60% franchise hotels in the total number of its hotels in the future.

Home Inn is not the only Hotel chain which hopes to have more than one thousand hotels. Though the acquisition of Qidouxing Hotel several years ago, Home Inn had surpassed its rival Jinjiangzhixing in terms of hotel numbers. According to Xu Zurong, president of Jinjiangzhixing, the company hopes to open up 80 hotels in this year, while it only opened up 50 to 60 hotels in the past years. It is expected that Jinjiangzhixing will have more than 500 newly opened hotels by the end of this year. And the company aims to have one thousand hotels with 3 or 5 years.
