Wuhan Zhongbai Achieved Great Increase in Revenue and Profit

Wuhan Zhongbai reported its performance of 2010 today. It showed that the company gained 11.872 billion RMB in sales revenue, an increase of 17.6%; 19.2 billion RMB in sales in scale, up by 14.11%; 333 million RMB in operating profit, 21.7% higher than that of the previous year; and 251 million RMB in net profit, a same-time increase of 17.59%.

In terms of its business format, supermarkets took in 9.2 billion RMB as operating revenue, contributing to 77.49% of the company s total operating revenue; convenience stores took in 2.052 billion RMB, a 17.28% contribution; and department stores took in 602 million RMB, a 5.07% contribution.

By the end of 2010, Wuhan Zhongbai has a total number of 679 stores, including 154 supermarkets (58 in Wuhan, 61 in Hubei Province and 35 in Chongqing), 520 convenience stores (including 56 franchise stores), and 5 department stores.
