A Commerce Ministry spokesman confirmed China will reduce export tax rebates on parts of steel products sometime this year in a bid to assist the national goal of saving energy and reducing emissions. He said Chinese exports of steel to Germany, Spain and Britain may be affected in the following months due to the European debt crisis.
