Iron Ore Resources Found in Jiangxi

About 12.6 million tons of iron ore resources have been detected in the deeper parts of the deposit of Liangshan Mine, Jiangxi. There is an estimated 80 million tons of ore reserves in Liangshan Mine and Taipingshan Mine, both owned by Jiangxi Xinyu Mining Company.

While Jiangxi boasts nearly three billion tons of iron ore in reserve, the local steel sector has to outsource over 70 percent of necessary iron ore from places outside the province.
