China will launch its first coke futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange in the first half of this year, a move that will be conducive to sound development of the domestic coke sector. The volume of the futures transactions on the exchange totaled 2.89 billion lots over the past five years with its transaction value amounting to 123.8 trillion yuan.
