Ansteel develops premium casting flux

Ansteel and a South Korea manufacturer have decided to set up an equally owned joint venture in Anshan City to produce 20,000 tons of high-grade continuous casting flux from September this year. High-grade protecting slag is widely used in the manufacturing of large slab for super low carbon steel and cold rolled silicon steel, and high-speed medium slab for low carbon, super low carbon steel and cold rolled silicon steel.
