Hangzhou Steel's 09 net profits triple

Hangzhou Steel posted an operating revenue of 15.71 billion yuan in 2009, down 28.78 percent year-on-year, a net profit of 147 million yuan, up 300 percent and earnings per share of 0.17 yuan, up 325 percent. Hangzhou Steel produced 2.61 million tons of pig iron last year, 3.46 million tons of crude steel and 2.55 million tons of steel products. This year the mill plans to produce 2.67 million tons of pig iron, 3.65 million tons of crude steel and 2.65 million tons of steel products and obtain 16.9 billion yuan in operating revenue.
