Baotou Steel H1 Profit Recovers to 374 Million Yuan

Baotou Steel fetched 374 million yuan in net profits in the first half of this year, compared with a loss of 748 million yuan in the same period last year, thanks to the reviving steel market. The company also clocked up 18.90 billion yuan in operating revenues, up 9.25 percent. It produced 4.91 million tons of crude steel, down 2.08 percent; 4.77 million tons of pig iron, down 1.21 percent and 4.67 million tons of steel products, down 2.44 percent.
