Ansteel Turns Waste Gas into Energy

Huaneng Yingkou Power Grid has generated nearly 100 million kilowatts of electricity over the past two months by using waste gas spewed out of Ansteel's Baiyuquan workshop. The cooperation between the two state-owned enterprises will not only help Ansteel reduce gas emissions in the air by 240 million cubic meters per year, but save 108,000 tons of standard coal for the power plant.
