Hebei Steel Lifts Prices by Up to 200 Yuan

Hebei Iron and Steel Group said it would raise prices for most steel products by 70 yuan to 200 yuan per ton starting from January 2011. The prices of rebar and high-speed wire rod will be increased by 70 yuan to 80 yuan from 4,470 yuan and 4,530 yuan for December shipment respectively, and those of medium plate, hot rolled coil and cold rolled coil will be increased by 150 yuan, 150 yuan and 200 yuan per ton respectively from December's 4,400 yuan, 4,550 yuan and 5,200 yuan.
