Reconstruction of Nanjing Cemetery of Anti-Japanese Aviation Martyrs Was Completed
(Reported by the news station) The reconstruction project of the cemetery at Nanjing Memorial Hall of Anti-Japanese Aviation Martyrs was officially completed on March 31. After the renovation of the tombstones of 178 anti-Japanese aviation martyrs, the cemetery is divided into three zones of China, Soviet Union and the United States according to the nationalities of the martyrs.
In addition, the tomb chambers are replaced in a proper order according to the military ranks of the martyrs. Pedestrian paths are added in the cemetery, helping relatives of the martyrs find the tombs more easily and pay their respects. After the reconstruction, the cemetery looks more uncluttered and spectacular against the background of Chinese incense cedars and green mountains.
