FC Barcelona striker Pedro Rodriguez on Tuesday showed his eagerness to play Arsenal in the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The clash between the two sides is a repeat of last season's quarterfinal when Barcelona emerged triumphant and also of the 2006 Champions League final, which Barca won 2-1 after Arsenal had been reduced to 10 men following the first half sending off of goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.
The tie is expected to be the most attractive of the round between two clubs with a very similar style of flowing attacking football and speaking to sports paper, El Mundo Deportivo, the striker who has scored 20 goals this season, said he was expecting a difficult night in the Emirates Stadium.
"Arsenal will be more dangerous than last year - a lot more dangerous, because this year they have Cesc (Fabrigas) and Robin Van Persie in excellent form," said Pedro.
"We need to keep out concentration, keep the ball and take our chances," he added, pointing out a possible weakness in the side coached by Arsene Wenger.
"Arsenal are a team that allow you to play good football," said the striker. "We need a good result so we can maintain our options in all three competitions, it is vital not to make mistakes now, because in a knockout competition there is no way back," said Pedro.
Barcelona travel to London on Tuesday without captain and central defender, Carles, Puyol, who is putting the finishing touches to his recovery from a calf injury. Puyol's absence will see Eric Abidal play in central defense, while Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola will make changes in midfield from the side that only drew 1-1 in Gijon on Saturday night.
Sergio Busquets will replace Javier Mascherano as Guardiola tries to combat the increasing tiredness in his squad which caused him to cancel Tuesday's scheduled training session in order to allow his players and extra day or rest.
