Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda did not hit the pitch in CSKA Moscow's 1-0 Europa League win over PAOK Salonika on Thursday due to a leg injury.

The Asian Cup MVP traveled with his Russian club to Toumbas Stadium, but sat out the match at the stand. Honda suffered an unspecified leg injury, according to Russian media.

During late January's Asian Cup, Honda sprained a left ankle ligament, which forced him to miss the last group game against Saudi Arabia.
