May operation of electronic manufacturing industry

May, electronics manufacturing sector grew by 17.7%, 0.5 percentage points lower than the month. From January to May, the added value of electronic line grew 20.8% over the same period in 2008 as the base, 1-May average growth rate of 8.7% in May the average growth rate of 10.8%. Main products, 1-May mini-computer equipment output increased 45.3%, 44.8% of them notebook computers up; phone production increased 36.7%; integrated circuit production increased 85.6%; color TV production increased 20.2%, of which 41% growth in LCD TV.

Export delivery value growth. May, electronic manufacturing export delivery value 287.7 billion yuan, up 32%, up 7.4% last month. The main products, the integrated circuit exports grew 90.2%, 36.9% growth in color television, automatic data processing equipment rose 41.8%. From January to May, the electronic manufacturing industry export delivery value up 30.9%, compared with growth of 14.5% over the same period in 2008.
