China Southern Airlines became the first e-freight

Recently, China Southern to obtain IATA (IATA) based authentication, became the first IATA e-freight domestic airlines. China Southern said that the recent strong market in Shenzhen to promote e-freight model, estimated for every single cargo airlines and freight cost savings of about 150. The industry believes that this or will cause the air cargo market in Shenzhen, "catfish effect."

"E-freight" by IATA, aims at the full implementation of the shipping documents by the number of reforms to reduce the shipping link in the paper files and finally to improve efficiency, streamline business processes, reduce air transport costs.

According to IATA estimates that e-invoice invoices required eliminating the traditional paper, printing, circulation, conservation, labor and other costs, so every shipment is expected to save nine U.S. dollars for the airlines, freight forwarders as a medium to save 14 dollars, a total of about RMB 150. IATA hopes to achieve this year, more than 20 kinds of traditional air cargo areas of paperless paper documents.

For its major cargo markets, China Southern said recently in Shenzhen, the gradual promotion of e-freight, move, or will take appropriate measures to stimulate the response of other airlines.
