China-US business cooperation in this field were

December 9 to 10, the third China-US Transport Forum held in Shenzhen. Weng Mengyong, vice minister of Ministry of Transport and the Deputy Minister Bo Jiali U.S. Department of Transportation on behalf of both sides were present.

Weng Mengyong at the opening keynote speech that China and the U.S. Transportation bilateral economic and trade cooperation is conducive to development and improved living standards of the event. Forum's development is inseparable from the two sides at various levels of sincere cooperation. Forum and mechanism of maturity not only two sides to further deepen cooperation, constantly seeking new opportunities for cooperation; but also to create atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation, and expand the broad participation of transport enterprises.

Weng Mengyong Bojia Li responded positively to the proposal and said the two sides will continue to promote cooperation in the transport sector.

At this forum, Beijing and Los Angeles, Beijing and Shenzhen and San Francisco and New York signed between the inter-city cooperation agreement. Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport and the Mineta Transportation Institute University of South Florida research institutions were also signed a cooperation agreement. In the forum the closing ceremony, Weng Mengyong and Bo Jiali represent the two sides signed the theme of "policy-makers, scholars and entrepreneurs brainstorming," the joint statement of the Forum in 2011 pointed out the direction.

Forum is organized by the Department of Transportation, Shenzhen City Traffic Commission contractor. Transport from China and the U.S. authorities, research institutions and transportation companies and more than 90 representatives.
