PetroChina Company Ltd's first LNG terminal will receive its first cargo between April 26 and 28 and start selling the fuel in late May, a report by an energy consultancy showed on March 24. The report by C1 Energy did not mention where the super-chilled gas might be sourced from. PetroChina, which will operate its LNG terminals mainly through Kunlun Energy Company Ltd after a series of asset sales in the past two years, originally planned to start operating the Rudong terminal in eastern Jiangsu province in April. Rudong is designed to take up to 3.5 million tons of LNG per year in its first phase.
