According to news.gov.hk: According to the report released by State Information Center (SIC) on China Securities Journal, at present, China's economy has recovered from the bottom, but it is not equal to trending economic recovery. It is predicted that China's GDP in 2009 will increase about 8.0% year-on-year, and the CPI will decline 0.5%.

It is proposed that the government should not further enlarge the stimulus policy in "maintaining growth" in the second half of 2009, and put the focus of work in implementation and improvement of the policy that has been launched, to foster the new growth point in the new round of economic recovery. In preliminary estimation, China's GDP this year will grow about 8.0%, and CPI and PPI will fall 0.5% and 5% respectively.

The investment and consumption will increase by 31% and 15%, imports and exports will decline 16% and 17.5% of the annual trade surplus will decrease to USD220b. Originally published by Info-Prod Strategic Business Information.
