Chinese car maker BYD has made its first all-electric car available to private buyers in China.
The BYD e6 is now available in Shenzhen.
It retails for roughly 300-thousand yuan.
However, buyers of the BYD e6 are eligible for up to 120-thousand kuai worth of subsidies.
The five-seater can travel up to 300 kilometers on a single charge in urban conditions.
Its projected top speed is 140 kilometers per hour.
The e6 was initially launched for government use in Shenzhen last year.
