China's newly signed overseas contracts down 5% in first two months: MOC

The total value of China's newly signed overseas contracts fell 5 percent year on year to 17.76 billion U.S. dollars in the first two months, said Yao Jian, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, Tuesday.
During the Jan.-Feb. period, the total turnover of China's contracted projects overseas surged 5.5 percent year on year to reach 9.88 billion U.S. dollars, Yao said.
