In a leapfrog development for national commercial, trade circulation and research planning in the service industry nationwide, the China business planning website (www.cbpn.cn) was recently opened as a part of attempts to create new industrial standards.
The website focuses on formulating service planning, logistics planning, tourism industry development strategy planning and urban commercial network planning in small and medium-sized cities.
It breaks the traditional model planning for a single unit. Also, the site has hired a galaxy of reputed scholars and experts in China to launch planning research under the guidance of the Market System Development Department of the Ministry of Commerce.
The website possesses a high-level professional team led by Huang Guoxiong, a remarkable economist, distinguished expert of the Ministry of Commerce and doctoral director of the People's University of China.
Other talented members in the team come from diverse backgrounds ranging from the domain of circulation to academia, such as the Market Research Office under the State Council Development Research Center and Tsinghua University. The core of the working team is composed of professors and doctors from the People's University of China.
Additionally, the site is committed to carrying out research and exploratory planning. It intends to bring in factors such as industrial development codes, administrative intentions and the space planning for urban economy. This will enable a higher level of goal setting, route planning, and measurements, which will ultimately serve the strategies for enhancing people's livelihoods.
Several planning cases have been successfully conducted in Beijing, Hebei Province, Liaoning Province, Henan Province and Fujian Province.
