Daily-deals website Groupon went live yesterday, bringing its popular brand of Internet retail to the world's most populous nation. GaoPeng.com, funded by Groupon, the Tencent Collaboration Fund and Yunfeng Capital, will begin accepting e-mail registrations from local consumers.
