Work begins on Harbin plant

Construction started on a new factory for Airbus in Harbin, Heilongjiang province. The facility will manufacture components for A350 XWB and A320.
The joint venture will be called Harbin Hafei Airbus Composite Manufacturing Centre Company Limited and the plant will cover 30,000 square meters.
The Manufacturing Centre received a business license on June 2009, and will aim to produce 5 percent of the A350 XWB airframe in China.
