Investment bank J.P. Morgan Chase announced it will open its first branch in northeast China in the first half this year.
The new branch, to open in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang Province, will be the American bank's sixth branch in China, said Tong Yan, director of the J.P. Morgan (China) compliance department, headquartered in Beijing.
