China's largest online shopping site Taobao.com will set up a 300-million-yuan fund to attract external developers to provide applications for its sellers and buyers, said Taobao Chief Executive Officer Daniel Zhang on Wednesday.
About 110,000 developers have developed 36,000 applications used on Taobao, which has 370 million registered users.
Taobao will take 30 percent of revenues from the use of the applications and developers will get the rest, said the company.
