Chinese e-commerce supplier giant Alibaba said Monday that its chief executive officer (CEO) David Wei has resigned from his post.
Reason of the resignation is not immediately known.
Wei has been replaced by Jonathan Lu, CEO of Taobao.com, China's largest online retail site, according to an announcement made by Alibaba, China's largest e-commerce company.
Alibaba, a Hong Kong listed company, is based in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province.
