Flying into profit

DOMESTIC civil aviation companies reported 3.4 billion yuan (US$515 million) of profit last month, more than a sixfold jump from 480 million yuan a year earlier, with the Spring Festival travel rush boosting passenger numbers.
Income stood at 37.1 billion yuan, a 35 percent year-on-year jump, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said yesterday in a monthly report.
