Starbucks may partner with Green Mountain

World's largest coffee chain Starbucks Corp is planning for parternership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, according to Reuters reports on Monday.
It is said that the move is part of Starbucks' efforts to get into the new and fast-growing single-serve coffee business.
Encouraged by the news, the shares of Green Mountain, whose Keurig brewer dominates the U.S. single-cup market,surged to an all-time high of 47.81 U.S. dollars and closed up 6.7 percent at 46.35 dollars.
Meanwhile, Starbucks' stock closed 0.7 percent higher at 33.58 dollars.
However, spokesmen for both companies declined to comment on whether there would really be a tie-up.
